The official SMART[4] brochure dated March 2022 presents an industrial and indoor-sports family with 1M, 2M and 4M formats and HE, HLO, HT or special versions. This is a historical document: it proves neither a current offer nor stock. Properties of HT or special versions do not extend to the whole family. The guide identifies the requirement; a current datasheet for the selected code is still needed.

Preparing the project brief

Provide the full code, version, ambient temperature at luminaire height, mounting, controls and any emergency function. Include site requirements and exact photometry. If two document editions disagree on the optic, do not choose a default value: request the datasheet matching the code and revision. No disputed optical attribute or HACCP or ATEX property is assigned to a reference here.

Is an advertised protection rating enough to validate an industrial environment?

No. All operating conditions must be checked against the exact reference instructions. A single datum does not cover every site constraint; undocumented cases need technical clarification before specification.
