A transparent calculation method
Annual consumption (kWh) = number of luminaires × power per luminaire (W) × operating hours per day × days per year / 1 000. Estimated annual cost is consumption multiplied by your price per kWh. The difference compares the two installations.
Energy performance does not validate lighting quality
Reducing watts does not guarantee illuminance, uniformity or glare control. Compare proposals that meet the same requirements, using verified photometric files. Actual savings depend on operating hours, controls, billed tariffs, electrical losses and operating conditions, among other factors.
