Hospitality & restaurants
Hotel lighting in Morocco. Create the atmosphere.
Plan LED lighting for your hotel or restaurant in Morocco: guest rooms, reception and shared spaces. Atmospheres, selection by area and documents to check.

Shape the atmosphere
Welcome, task and accent lighting should match each zone's volumes, materials and uses.
Plan lighting scenes
Verify compatibility among light sources, drivers and controls. Smooth dimming must be checked on the actual equipment combination.
Simplify operations
Consolidating models and planning access simplifies maintenance. Replacement options and delivery times are confirmed at quotation.

Criteria to define in your study
- Distinguish reception, dining, reading and circulation areas. Define daytime and evening scenes with the operator and architect.
- Control source visibility and material rendering; validate colour temperature, optics and dimming on a representative sample.
- For wallwashing, verify suitable optics and photometry before specification: a generic family does not guarantee this effect.
- Check dimming with the actual combination of luminaire, driver and controls; plan access, cleaning and replacement.
Numerical targets and applicable standards must be confirmed for the specific brief and site. Check the manufacturer's photometric data and documents before selecting a product reference.
Choose by zone, verify each reference
Guest rooms and reading areas
Separate general, reading and indirect lighting. Consider downlights, spotlights or LED strips according to the layout; check the light source, power supply and control together before selecting a dimming solution.
Reception and dining areas
Identify circulation routes, tables and surfaces to highlight. Compare optics and how materials appear; plan daytime and evening scenes with the operator, without assuming a particular atmosphere from the luminaire type alone.

Qualify your project, step by step
1. Describe how the spaces are used
For each guest room, lobby, restaurant and corridor, describe daytime and evening uses, reading positions, materials and desired controls. Include plans, sections and useful photos in the brief.
2. Prepare a sample room or area
List proposed variants, drivers, accessories and controls. Agree with the architect and operator what to assess on a sample: materials, visible light sources, reading and scenes. Trials need to be arranged and confirmed.
3. Assemble the enquiry dossier
Keep the selection by area, GTINs, manufacturer documents and trial observations. Add quantities to confirm, work phases in occupied premises and access to drivers; have the dossier approved before quotation.

Questions before choosing
Can the hotel keep its existing dimmers?
Record their references and those of the existing drivers. Request a documented check of the proposed combination and plan a trial before extending the selection to all guest rooms.
How do I choose between downlights, spotlights and LED strips?
First describe the purpose in each area: reception, reading, dining or indirect lighting. Then explore the families above and compare variants using their documents. An atmosphere illustration is not a product specification.
Which documents should I request before ordering?
For each selected variant, request the datasheet, installation instructions and control or photometric documents needed for the project. Check the product code and version; missing documents still need to be obtained, and the quotation must confirm commercial terms.
